01

The problem & context

A telecommunications web application with modular administration and analytical interfaces.

02

Architecture

An Angular shell hosts microfrontends for the live Highcharts dashboard and for administration, including personalization and dark mode. A Node.js collector gathers status and telemetry from the SD-WAN controller and edge devices, stores network state in ArangoDB, and publishes changes to a Socket.IO gateway that pushes live updates to the dashboard over WebSockets. A Node.js REST API serves initial state, history, configuration, and preferences. The Node.js services and ArangoDB run as Docker containers on Amazon EC2.

03

Implementation & my contribution

  • Implemented microfrontends to streamline development and administration.
  • Built an interactive dashboard using Highcharts.
  • Developed a personification feature for user customization.
  • Introduced dark mode and collaborated with clients on user stories, tracking delivery in JIRA.
04

Outcome

Delivered modular frontend features, interactive data visualization, and user customization.
